We motored up into the mountains to stay at a friend's house in Crestline.
The day was foggy, damp, and cold.
The dog loved it. Lots of big trees.
But there was no key waiting for us. So we came back down the mountain and ripped apart the bathroom. New sink, new mirror, new paint job.

Pillows Fights
Flash mobbing with pillows hits the world. The members converge on a given site at a given time and beat each other with pillows. Great fun. From Austin to Zurich, it's an international phenomenon. Wikipedia has more information.

Glasses
Wilton did a great website for a great italian restaurant in NYC called Arqua. I went along and took some pics for him. This one I took and then did some photoshop work on it. What do you think.
Ann and Leo have opened a new wine bar across the street called Petrarca. It's already become a tribeca fave.

Season of Madness
Marco "Polo" Cecere
When I was in Milan recently, I came across a local DJ named Marco "Polo" Cecere. His cd's are great and I bought "The Home Collection". It's mostly lounge, background stuff. But the final song is a stirring anthem. "Liberty Lines". I thought that it had to have come from "V For Vendetta". When I saw the movie, I thought for sure I will hear that song and I'll be soooo cool for having known it before the rest of America. The song was no part of the film....... But, it's still a cool song and it happens that it is the sole song sampled by the company, Jet Lag Records. Take it for a spin. And then go to the imports section of the CD store.

Photoshop Painting
I'm back in Los Angeles with a bit of time on my hands. I'm going to be experimenting with some new lamps this week but here and now....... trying a process of taking a photo and turning it into a painting in Photoshop. Here are some examples of what i've done so far. One of my neice Katie in Mexico and a portrait of Jack, my godson. I have not tried to print them yet but thinking on canvass would complete the effect. what do you think?

Alex Budovsky
Russian artist Alex Budovsky has been creating interesting music videos for The Real Tuesday Weld. "Bathtime in Clerkenwell" put both on the map.
He has also done innovative children films. And he pens his own music. It's a fun site to wander around and be amazed.

Prague Puppets
The stage in Prague with all the catwalks for the puppeteers.....
.....And what it looked like down below, on set with the actors.
Ellen helps one of the actresses with her marks.
I practice my karate chops.
I love Ellen's cossack getup here. Or is she an east european spy.
I love this picture I took of Ellen and our producer Kevin Byrne in the airport lounge the morning of our departure back to New York City. Don't they look distinguished.
Finally posting some pictures from the stage in Prague where we spent that week in january. It was a tough job and long hours but the crew was great. The local production staff fit in so well with the new yorkers. We learned alot about the czech republic and the food........ ay caramba! Some of the best catering ever! Hot wine and schnitzel....Fantastic!
The product is Lynx Thai bath gel. And it was Hungryman Productions that took us over. Thanks!

Aston Martin DBS
This afternoon Aston Martin and Eon Productions unveiled the new DBS, the car that James Bond will be driving in "Casino Royale". And I must admit that I don't know much about cars but it looks cool. But no word on if it will have built in ejector seats and missiles
