Back Home

We got Seven back home from the hospital this afternoon. He walked like a drunken sailor due to a dosing amount of phenol barbital. He finally stopped pacing around and got onto bed and sacked out.

Clusters

Saturday morning, Seven started a series of cluster seizures. The first grand mal was the most severe and the longest.  After the second, back to the hospital he went. Another one last night and two more this morning meant the cycle still was not broken.  We just came from a visit and Seven was coming out of a phenol barbital induced stupor. Sad to have to leave him behind but hopeful he can pass the night seizure free and come home in the morn.
Above he's enjoying a wet down after a walk last week.

Super Happy

After a day of sleeping and lounging about, Seven surprised me and we went on one of our longest walks. On out return, he dove into his patch of grass and rolled around with a vigor that shook his feeding tube loose. He's turning into a very happy, evening dog.

On The Marrow

Seven enjoys a marrow bone tonight on his patch of grass.

Weekend Dog

Seven has not been wanting crunchy things but we bought some marrow bones today and he started to chew away. He seems to like the raw, basic stuff.

Front Yard

A few things are defying the bright sun and heat to put forth some blooms. With the Catherine's Lace nearly touching the bottom branches of the Jacaranda.

Noble Dog

Seven holds his head up high while sporting a new tank top.

Playing in Mud

We did a commercial last week that involved a big truck kicking up some big mud. The director and the DP took refuge inside plastic bags.
