Los Angeles Plaza
A few more pics from the recent Mexico adventure. The first day of shooting we went to Los Angeles Plaza to shoot some actors and some real people. The faces are amazing. And EK was pulling people off the street corners, cafes and even garbage trucks.

Arte Moderno
Went over to the Arte Moderno this morning. Forgot how unassuming the building is from the outside and how groovy it is on the interior. A huge, massive yellow skylight illuminates the lobby. The most amazing floor I've ever seen and giving me ideas...... and lots of little nooks with mid century classics to take a load off.
The art is good too.....
Jorge Marin
There is so much art on the streets of Mexico City. This morning I walked along the tree lined Paseo Reforma. A main thoroughfare with many of Mexico's largest museums along the way. The center island had exhibits from many Mexican sculpters. My favorite on was Jorge Marin. Very life like Venetian masked angels.

Fountain Blood
Antiguo Colegio De San Ildefonso
Yesterday I treked a few miles to the museum Antiguo Colegio De San Ildefonso. Located near the nation's cathedral, the museum is known for it's modern Mexican art. But the walls and murals are what attracted me. Art from the great muralists of the 1920's come to life in the courtyards and stairways of the museums. Many of them deal with the inequities of Cafe Society in a way that makes them very relevant to today's world.
