Feeding the Neighborhood
A flowering bush out front has attracted dozens of bees, flies and butterflies. The tiny flowers seem to have something for everyone. I wish I could remember what it is called.
Heirloom
The heirloom tomatoes are still at the farmer's market. Super tasty and only needing a little oil and balsamic vinegar.

Banco in Situ
Banco has been dealing with a nasty Kennel Cough. Her hacking is finally starting to shorten and get better. Neither WL or I have been getting much sleep. She is a big, loud girl in all sorts of ways.
Sunrise
They are finishing work on a new home on top of the hill. A spectacular property that affords 270 degree views of the surrounding valleys. Wrap around decks take full advantage of the scenery. It will be a magnificent home when done.

Ripped Apart
The new car's back sunshade was broken and in a permanently raised position. I hated the look of it. To replace the poorly designed unit would be a $1600 hit. So WL ripped apart the backseat and after 4 hours, had the offending part in hand. He disengaged the motor and now if someone really wants a little shade in the back, it can be operated manually.
The Old and The New
We recently got a new-ish car for the driveway. A 2005 E320 Mercedes CDI. It's got most of the bells and whistles along with a few dings and scratches. My mechanic says I got a great deal. First time he's approved of a purchase in 25 years.
After 12 years, the Womb Chair is in need of re upholstering. I found a fabric that's going to keep the botanical feel of the chair. It's off to Rose Upholstery once more and Vahid's trained hands. It'll be the third time in 32 years that the chair has been recovered.
