Arrived

We arrived in Grants Pass Thursday afternoon to our riverside cabin.  Banco saw geese for the first time.  Lots of grass to roll on. New smells everywhere.

New Hole

Was doing very well but a week of moving while breaking in new orthotics has given me a new hole in the bottom of my right foot.

Baby Manti

The mantis egg sack on the desert willow started to spew forth its progeny today.  Many micro manti running around out back now.

Shade Bomb

We threw down a shade flower seed bomb last Fall near the new planter.  Everything coming up well.  We hope to see some blooms before we depart.

Pastrami

I've seen this several times at our local diner Troy's but never dare order.  As we are leaving, I gave the chili cheese fries topped with pastrami a try...... a delicious heart attack.

No Diving

The dumpster came and now the garage is cleaned out.  7 days till we drive away.

U Box

We received and packed our first UBox over the weekend.  No other comparable system could make to our neighborhood. A pick up truck and trailer made this a breeze to get into the driveway.
This was the easy one.  Lots of boxes.  The next two will be furniture and not so symmetrical.

Jade Beauty

Big brother Steve brought over a big chunk of concave jade.  The colors are amazing and it will be finding a place of honor up in Oregon.

A few pics of what it looked like in LA before 300+ people walked through the house.  Realtor said it was a remarkable showing.

Because people want white walls in houses, we dismantled the picture wall and it became a uniform and bland beige.

Simone's mother is a fabulous painter.  These are from her art school days. Never knew there was so much artistry in one family. I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of more soon.

Healthcare

One of the main reasons why we are not retiring to Arizona.  Healthcare costs there are horrible and maintain the Republican ideals of selfishness, "me first, screw the rest" and Ayn Rand contempt.
