The neighborhood dogwood trees are in full bloom.  Being shaded by the redwood, ours are a few weeks behind the rest.

New Persian

We recently bought a new Persian rug for downstairs. While that bedroom is being renovated, it has been in the living room.  Banco may not let it be moved when the time comes.......

Uranium Glass

Recently found some cool 1930's jadeite colored uranium glass wine goblets. Their radioactive properties mean they will glow under a black light.  Perfect for Halloween wine tastings.

Snowfall

Yesterday afternoon, it started snowing and kept on snowing into the night.  Will be gone later today....rain and low 40's predicted.

Unaffordable Housing

Although the neighbors dispute this, it appears that W and I are part of the problem.  As Jason says, "10 years ago you could buy $50K houses all day long".
But there's good news on the jobs front.

Banco’s first snow!  She blends in.  Easier for her to see squirrels.  Perfect snow....not too cold, no wind, light and fluffy.  Happy New Year!
