A good morning walk and a nice lay about in the back yard.

Bouquet Garni
With the house beginning to smell like Seven's mush food, we have been using our sages and herbs to combat the scent

Weekend Dog
It's Seven's first full week back from the hospital. New blood work is looking good. The body is healing itself and there's signs of fur growing back over his surgical and IV sites. Incremental goodness makes us happy.

UV Therapy
With gorgeous temperatures back in the Southland for the next week, we have been venturing outside to some of Seven's favorite spots. We have to follow with semi clean sheets until his stomach sutures are removed. No infections or ants wanted.
Mangia! Mangia!
We've been weaning Seven off the tramadol pain medication and his appetite is slowly coming back. Not enough to stop the tube feeding. His current favorite is WL's egg, swiss cheese and beef scramble.
The Inner Eye.....Lid
Since Seven's been back from the hospital, he has been showing us his inner eyelid a lot. Not sure if it's the result of the pain pills or if this is the new normal.

Dramatic Projections
We recently worked on a celebrity alcohol ad in Hollywood with a bunch of amazing projections and animations. It was an impressive and dark set to work on. You can see the commercial here. Below are a few of DP Tristan conferring with the higher ups.

Morning Feeding
This is the nuts and bolts of Seven's survival. When he doesn't eat enough under his own steam, we have a way of pumping his stomach full of dog food mush. We are tweaking his pain meds today so hopefully he will be a bit more ravenous at the bowl tomorrow morn.
That bare patch by his bum is where they shaved to put a pain patch after his surgery.

Nap Time Buddies
Seven has not been eating on his own so we have been using the feeding tube 4X a day. We had a scare with it today but after a quick trip to the hospital and a B12 shot, everything is good again. With 99+ temps outside, we are taking a siesta inside.

He's Home
Seven got released from the hospital today. Exploratory surgery revealed tumors on his pancreas. The biopsy came back as cancerous. Pancreatic cancer is very aggressive and chemo resistant. The only saving grace from immediate euthanasia was that one of the tumors sat near a duct leading into the small intestine. The blood and crap it discharged into the intestine is what brought us to the hospital. So they were able to cut out a lot of that tumor and he seems to have his life back for awhile. The mesh t shirt hides a feeding tube we will be using when he does not eat enough on his own. The prognosis is for 2-3 months.

Rochester Wedding
Went to my nephew's wedding last weekend in Rochester. Everyone looked great and the handsome couple are planning an Italian getaway.

Green Screen Owl
The star of the Argentine job we recently did was Jorge, the owl. We had to do a bunch of green screen effects shots and built a huge green set inside the bank's lobby.
BsAs Screen
My hotel room in Buenos Aires had a very interesting security screen. The sun looked great when it shined through. Much more interesting than the usual barred windows.
Found
A neighbor who's moving put these great looking old marble pieces out on the curbside. They cleaned up well and now we just have to figure out what to do with them.
New Grapefruit
Several weeks ago, after the death of our Oro Blanco grapefruit, we planted a new Oro grapefruit. Hopefully a different position in the back garden and some better care will keep this one alive.
