The Golden Bumble

In recent weeks we have had some enormous golden bumble bees frequent the garden. I'm familiar with the black version and indeed WL believes these to be some albino-esque version. They do add a bit more color to the front yard.

Pick Up

We ended last week on a field with some track and field people. To be mobile, we strapped a 18,000 watt ArriMax in the back of a quirky pickup.

Birthday Dog

He's officially a senior citizen. Seven could not wait for his blanket to dry before spreading his scent around.

We were in a gym last week doing a summer commercial with several gymnasts and swimmers. Ellen lines up the shots with our hopeful here.

On our way upstate recently, we stopped in Kingston to try out the local butcher. Fleisher's chops and sausages were amazing on the grill that night. I'm so glad that they've opened an urban outpost in Brooklyn.

El and I spent a recent relaxing weekend at her home upstate. We worked on the pond a bit and some other chores around house including hanging a large print from her recent gallery show of her commercial photographs. Of course there was time for a nap and BBQ with friends afterwards.

    New Rooster

We recntly found a concrete rooster to put on the front stoop. WL has figured out that the bird should be pointing south west for the perfect feng shui. Let's hope he brings us luck.

    May Garden

It's finally come to pass that intsead of nurturing the garden, we are having to hack away at it to keep some semblance of order. A little chaos is planned for but now it must be controlled.

    Car Job

Spent the last two weeks doing some car stuff for the internet. The beginning was interesting but by the end.... it was kinda factory work. I did get to work with some old friends and met great new DP.
