Lake of the Woods

It was much warmer on Lake of the Woods yesterday than anticipated. We saw 2 bald eagles up in the trees.  It might be our last paddle of the season.
 

Dismantled

While we were out paddling yesterday, the resort dismantled the docks in the marina.  Spaces for 50 boats were gone when we returned.  Winterizing the area in full swing.

Lots of Ducks

Yesterday at Lake of the Woods we were the only people on the lake.  We were prime snacking targets for the ducks.  Everything from fritters to apples were welcomed

To celebrate the end of the kayak season, Susan gave a pool party. Lovely afternoon.
 

Before and After

We returned to Klamath Lake and paddled south around Pelican Bay.  Mark and Bruce ended up in the water.  Mark tried getting out of his kayak and fell in. Bruce went to his aid and also got dunked. Luckily it was shallow and a warmish day,
