Suchart Chawangkul recently held two concerts in charity for the Phya Thai Palace. Below is what one national newspaper wrote about the star's return.........
"When Suchart Chawangkul disappeared from the music scene in the early 80s, no one really expected him to return. But that is exactly what he is doing 20 years on, with two concerts dubbed “The One & Only Suchart Chawangkul”.
Given his considerable fame as a crooner and the number of best-selling albums he released during his career, Broadcasting Network (Thailand) Limited are betting their bottom dollar that fans will turn up at the Thailand Cultural Centre tonight and tomorrow night well in time for the shows
“He was the only top male pop singer of that time and that earned him a loyal following. I believe that his fans, who are obviously more mature now, have been hoping that their favourite artist would come back one day,” Pachai says confidently."
