We met the girls yesterday at our fave dim sum restaurant in Monterey Park. After a few pork buns and shumai we left NBC Seafood and ventured north to the Arboretum and the LA Garden Show. I had never been to either and was surprised to find a dozen or so peacocks roaming the grounds. You never knew if they were going to be underfoot or overhead. As we walked the gardens, the birds' loud squawk could be heard everywhere.
